Default 1952 Dodge M37 - Military Truck - Should I bid or pass?
How hard is it to find parts for this truck. I am consideri*ng
bidding on one. The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs has tw*o
of them for Online Auction at WisconsinSurplus.com. They say they
a*re not running, how hard are these to work on? Would it be a good
*project?

A search on Yahoo! turned up several sources for parts. Here's one --
http://www.adirondackdodgeparts.com/prod01.htm

They're going to be about as easy to work on as any vehicle from that period. If
you have no experience with drum brakes and flathead engines, there will be a
steep learning curve.

From what's shown, the hardtop vehicle seems to be in better condition. It looks
like the front driveshaft on the other one is disconnected from the front axle.
I noticed there are no photos of the engine compartment for either. That's a bad
sign to me, and I would want to take a good look at these before bidding.
